WHAT IS A CELEBRANT LED FUNERAL SERVICE
This is a funeral ceremony which is driven by the beliefs, wishes and values of the deceased and their family, and not by the beliefs of ideology of the person conducting the funeral.

FUNERAL CEREMONIES
Planning a funeral for someone close to you is a difficult task to have to undertake, especially as this will be a distressing time for you and your family. Working closely with you and your funeral director, I can help guide and advise you and your family during this sad period.

You will also have every opportunity to discuss all aspects of the ceremony throughout this process. The many options available to you are yours to choose, and you may wish to include any music, poetry or readings that you feel are appropriate. Working together, we can plan the order of the ceremony and at every stage of this process, you will be able to approve or amend the content of the ceremony.

AS YOUR CELEBRANT – As your celebrant, it is my role to work closely with you, your family and your funeral director. Every funeral should be personal and unique and I will help you arrange a fitting ceremony to tell the story of the life that has been lived.

I will meet with you to talk through your many options for the ceremony, and I will be there to give you any help and advice with the ceremony content throughout this whole process. I will listen to you and the family and document all our conversations, then with this information I will create and write the tribute, or support you in writing your own and I will also prepare the ceremony script, and conduct the ceremony. 

 

MUSIC CHOICES
Wesley Media and Obitus both host and provide a huge database of recorded music and send the chosen music choices direct to UK Crematoriums ready for the service.

I will ensure that the exact music choice you want is sourced and available for use on the day. Using a portable amp I am also able to provide your music for graveside services or in venues that do not have access to those online music providers.

ABOUT ME

I am a traditional celebrant and my background as a christian teaching from the platform has given me the confidence to stand and deliver a fitting tribute, and celebrate the life of the family member who has passed away.

I am also a people person who is warm and friendly, and has the ability to put people at ease even in the most difficult of times. As your funeral celebrant, I will be with you throughout this journey and will support you in creating a personal and special ceremony to help you say goodbye to your loved one.

FUNERAL CEREMONY - £200

This will be a bespoke ceremony in celebration of your loved one. Cost includes:

  • meeting with you and the family to discuss the service requirements
  • document and write the tribute 
  • prepare a written service script for family approval
  • arrange requested music for the service
  • liaise with your funeral director, crematorium or service venue
  • conduct the ceremony on the day
  • provide the family with a written keepsake of the ceremony

 

FUNERAL CEREMONY FOR CHILDREN UP TO 16 YEARS OLD - No Charge

I will carefully guide you through all the arrangements and listen to you to understand your thoughts and wishes. I can gently suggest unique ways to add personal touches to the day and be right by your side before, during, and after the funeral.

The free services I provide are:

  • meeting with you and the family to discuss the service requirements
  • document and write the tribute 
  • prepare a written service script for family approval
  • arrange requested music for the service
  • liaise with your funeral director, crematorium or service venue
  • conduct the ceremony on the day
  • provide the family with a written keepsake of the ceremony

Support for Children's Funeral Costs

The Children’s Funeral Fund is a scheme to provide funding for the fees charged for a cremation or burial of a child under the age of 18 or stillborn after the 24th week of pregnancy - Support for child funeral costs (Children’s Funeral Fund for England)
